Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Wizz Air will launch new regular flights between Bratislava and Podgorica on 21 May, Slovakia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Juraj Blanár announced, adding that this will contribute to an increase in the number of tourists from that country.
Speaking at a conference held at Villa Gorica with Montenegro’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimovic, Blanar said that the flights, which will be symbolically launched on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Montenegro’s independence, will operate three times a week.
“This is a major contribution to increasing the number of tourists from Slovakia who will come to Montenegro,” Blanar said.
He added that he looks forward to this great potential for economic cooperation being used at different levels, including through a commission that will be convened.
“We agreed that a joint international commission for economic and trade cooperation will convene this year,” Blanar said, adding that it will provide an opportunity to discuss other areas of economic cooperation.
