Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to MP Bogdan Bozovic of the Socialist People’s Party (SNP), the party’s initiative of to resolve the problems of workers of Jugoprevoz from Berane has been unanimously adopted.

“The initiative to address the problems of Jugoprevoz workers from Berane is coming into focus, with a clear demand to urgently resolve outstanding debts based on unpaid wages and pension insurance,” Bozovic said in a press release.

The SNP’s initiative was adopted and accepted unanimously, which in his opinion sends a strong message that there is full political consensus on this issue.

“This is a long-standing problem that has put workers in a difficult position and must no longer remain without a concrete response from the relevant institutions,” Bozovic said.

For this reason, an invitation will be sent to representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, as well as representatives of other institutions that can help resolve this decades-long issue, in order to define precise steps toward a solution through institutional dialogue.
