Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The grand finale of the BoostMeUp 5.0 programme – Montenegro Pitching Competition 2026 – will take place on Saturday at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Podgorica, bringing together the most promising Montenegrin startup teams, investors, mentors, and key players from the innovation ecosystem.

Tehnopolis said in a press release that during the five-month programme, 11 selected teams developed their innovative ideas through intensive mentorship with more than 20 renowned experts.

“The finale marks the culmination of this process, where teams will present their projects to a panel of experts and the audience,” the press release reads. 

Throughout the programme, significant financial support was also provided to participants: six of the most successful teams have already received €7,000 each for further development of their ideas, while an additional four teams received €1,000 each.

As part of the finale, the top three ranked teams will win additional market-entry prizes in the amounts of €15,000, €10,000, and €7,000.

In addition to the pitch session, the event will feature a keynote address by Maja Andjelkovic from the World Bank on startup development in domestic and international markets, as well as a review of ten years of work of Tehnopolis.

BoostMeUp 5.0 is implemented by Tehnopolis, in partnership with the Science and Technology Park, the University of Montenegro, ICT Hub Belgrade, One Montenegro, Elektroprivreda, and the Central Bank, with support from the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation and the Government.
