Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The BIO-TAC solution, an autonomous, modular electric tool carrier designed for regenerative and biointensive agriculture, essentially a farming tool with autonomous guidance, significantly facilitates everyday work on farms.
BIO-TAC is a regional solution developed through the EmBRACE project under the Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027, funded by the European Union (EU).
“Partners involved in the development of BIO-TAC are Upbeat Hub from Montenegro, PZ Agronova from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Green Tools Tech from Croatia,” the Ministry of European Affairs said in a press release.
Vukasin Rakocevic of Upbeat Hub said that BIO-TAC was created because small and medium-sized farms lack an affordable solution between hard manual labour and expensive agricultural robots.
“We needed something smaller, simpler, and financially viable that could help farms become more efficient, especially those applying ecological and sustainable methods,” Rakocevic said.
Such solutions respond to the needs of modern agriculture, particularly small and medium-sized farms, which form the backbone of production in Montenegro.
The advantage of BIO-TAC is that a single machine enables multiple operations, reducing costs and increasing production efficiency.
