Bar, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The award ceremony for winners of the National Competition in the Quality of Olive Oils and Olive Products (MNEOOC 2026) was held on Friday in the unique atrium of the House of Olives in Old Bar.

The House of Olives administration announced that the event once again confirmed that Bar is a true center of Montenegrin olive growing.

The event was officially opened by Mayor of Bar Dusan Raicevic, who highlighted the strong commitment of the local administration to further developing and promoting olive growing, with special reference to the achievements of the House of Olives.

He highlighted the importance of the fact that during the previous season production was launched and free processing of olives was enabled for all olive growers in Montenegro, as well as that this year’s competition was marked by a record number of submitted samples of exceptional quality.

During the event, awards were presented to producers in categories including olive wood products, food products from olives and olive oil, and cosmetic products made from olives and olive oil, confirming the diversity and innovation of Montenegro’s olive sector.
