Bar, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The City Council of Bar has adopted the Strategic Development Plan until 2030, a key planning document that defines the city’s development directions for the next five years.

“The overall goal jointly defined by this strategic plan is: Bar, a city of sustainable development and innovation, with developed infrastructure, a competitive economy, preserved natural and cultural heritage, and a high quality of life for all citizens,” the local administration stated in a press release.

The Mayor of Bar, Dusan Raicevic, said that this vision provides a framework for joint action and reflects a commitment to balanced development across all areas, including modernization of infrastructure, strengthening the economy, preservation of natural wealth and cultural identity, and creating a society in which every citizen has equal opportunities for a quality life.

The active participation of citizens in the drafting process adds particular value to this document.

Through surveys and consultations, many residents shared their ideas and suggestions, fully contributing to the content and directions of the strategic plan, demonstrating that the city’s development depends not only on institutions but also on each individual’s willingness to be part of the process.
