Bar, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The formal award ceremony for the winners of the National Competition in the Quality of Olive Oils and Olive Products (MNEOOC 2026) will be held on Friday at 6 p.m., organized by the Olive House and under the patronage of the Municipality of Bar.

MNEOOC is the central national event dedicated to promoting quality, expertise, and innovation in the production of olive oil and olive-based products. 

The event brings together prominent producers, experts, institutional representatives, as well as olive oil enthusiasts, with the aim of improving production standards, exchanging knowledge, and affirming best practices in this field.

“The special significance of the competition is reflected in its role in valorizing domestic production and strengthening the international recognition of Montenegrin olive oil as a high-quality product of authentic origin. Through the evaluation and awarding of the best, MNEOOC further encourages producers to continuously improve quality and apply modern technologies,” the organizers said.

The event also offers an important platform for networking among producers, experts, and institutions, as well as for promoting Montenegro as a destination rich in olive-growing tradition and high-quality agricultural products. At the same time, MNEOOC contributes to the development of rural tourism and the overall promotion of national gastronomy.
