Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Presidency of the Association of Montenegrin Managers (AMM) has decided to establish two new professional platforms: the CFO Association and the ESG Association of Montenegro.

AMM stated in a press release that it continued its process of strategic reorganization, further strengthening its role as the leading umbrella organization for business leaders and managers in Montenegro. 

“The decision responds to clearly identified needs of the business community, as well as to modern trends shaping corporate governance and economic development,” the press release reads.

Starting from the need to advance the financial profession and develop a community of finance directors, the CFO Association will be formed as a professional platform bringing together the most relevant representatives of financial management, controlling, and advisory sectors, with the aim of improving management practices and strengthening professional standards.

“At the same time, given the growing need to align business operations with principles of sustainable development, responsible governance, and transparency, the ESG Association will act as an interdisciplinary platform connecting businesses, institutions, and the professional community to develop ESG standards, provide education, and support the sustainable transformation of Montenegro’s economy,” the press release concluded.
